Hi! I’m Karla Privett — a wife, mom, friend, and counselor.
I have a background in social work and began my career working in foster care, where I developed a deep compassion for those who have experienced pain and loss. After taking time off to raise my children, I returned to counseling and found that this work is not only a calling but also a gift, one that brings healing to others and growth to my own heart as well.
As a counselor, I strive to create a warm, welcoming, and safe space where you can show up exactly as you are. My approach is Spirit-led, gentle, and direct. I offer EMDR, sand tray therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for individuals working through anxiety, trauma, PTSD, and depression.
I believe everyone has a story, and that healing begins when we feel seen, heard, and valued. Together, we’ll explore what’s underneath your current struggles and begin to rewrite your story with hope and meaning. My Christian faith deeply shapes how I approach healing. I believe that growth in faith often means facing the wounds that have held us back. In counseling, we can uncover peace, purpose, and freedom together.
